Mentor Program

CT OER Grant Mentor Program

The CT OER Coordinating Council is seeking volunteers to serve as mentors to support new applicants within the CT OER Grant Program. The ideal candidate may include past CT OER grant winners along with local OER experts who can share their experiences and expertise in supporting the grant application and/or completion process. Volunteers are asked to donate 3-5 hours of their time.

During the application process, applicants have the option to request a mentor, along with the ability to identify specific area(s) of need (budgeting, calculating savings, implementation, report writing, navigating the grant process, etc.). This service will be an additional service to applicants who will also be provided an orientation/workshop on the grant categories and requirements.

Mentors will be recognized via a letter of service from the Connecticut Office of Higher Education as well as be listed on the CT OER Council website.
